Our client, a luxury international hotel chain is currently looking for a skilled native Japanese Chef de Cuisine with good "hands on" culinary knowledge in the preparation of authentic Japanese cuisne for their Restaurant culinary operation, which includes purchasing, receiving, storage and product control up to the proper creation, planning and implementation of creative menus for the entire restaurant.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 year experience in similar capacity and at least 2 years experience as Japanese Chef de Cuisine
Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce
Proven ability to develop/ improve business
Out-of-the-box Chef de Cuisine, should be able to create new concepts / implement new cuisines
Strong selling skills and able to adapt and adjust to local taste buds
Ability to lead, engage, and motivate team, detect talent and develop talent
Displays initiative and creativity
