Our client, a pre-opening hotel in HK is currently seeking a dynamic, proactive Bar Manager with lots of energy who enjoys working in an exciting,fast-paced environment to help launch their firstsky bar in Hong Kong.
This role will promote and grow the business, hire and train staff and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service.
The role will be handling daily operations, managing resources and employees and creating a safe, fun environment for staff and patrons.
Responsibilities:
Strong industry knowledge on beverage program. This includes creating an innovative
cocktail menu and training the bar team to deliver consistent products and services.
Be a team leader to lead and inspire
Plan and execute promotional programs
Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and execute promotional events and initiatives
Manage beverage costs and labour costs within budgeted guidelines. Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resources
Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies and ingredients
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including liquor laws and regulations, as well as sanitation and hygiene
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Bar Manager in upscale bars with experience in creating a beverage program, especially cocktails, to build on the existing success of similar concept bar in London
Solid knowledge and experience on mixology and beverage service, as well as industry trends
Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage service, as well as industry trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices
Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Set and enforce quality and safety controls
