We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead the Sales Department of a leading international hotel in Sydney. This role is accountable for driving revenue across all market segments, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve room night and revenue targets.
  • Manage RFPs, consortia relationships, airline crew and wholesale contracting.
  • Proactively generate new business and re-engage dormant accounts.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team; set targets, coach, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Oversee tradeshows, client events, and industry networking.
  • Provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and market intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and WH&S standards.

Requirements

  • Proven hotel sales leadership experience.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce/Delphi is a plus.
