Our client, a luxury international hotel in Tokyo is currently looking for Middle East Sales Manager(Tokyo based)
Job Purpose:
Responsible for achieving annual room and banquet revenue targeting Arabic speaking and international
accounts and market segments
Key Accountabilities:
Aggressively target the solicitation of business from key market segments: negotiated corporate, consortia, wholesale, partnership programs, government and group (i.e. meeting, incentive, convention and event) to achieve annual room and banquet revenue targets
Take initiative in improving the Middle Eastern guest experience from reservation through to check out,
involving both Marketing and Front of House
Support in developing sales strategy, promotions, activities and hotel’s key marketing objectives as required by DOS, ADOS and Director of Corporate, Government and Entertainment Sales
Track and monitor the productivity (i.e. room and banquet targets, sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, client receptions, sales showcase and more) of individual targets
Complete weekly sales activity and month end reports, including key market highlights from assigned
industry and accounts
Responsible for handling home office and regional sales office inquiries, cross selling sister properties and day to day home office communication as required
Participate in tradeshows, group sales missions, roadshows and more as required
Maintain the sales team’s goal settings standards and cleansing of sales and banquets client database as required by home office
Maintain professional relationships and contact with those in the local community and elsewhere who will benefit the hotel and group and represent the brand with style and elegance
Be prepared to speak knowledgeably about the hotel and the group and remain educated on hotel and luxury industry trends, current events and competitor’s activities
