VP- Operations ( Luxury brands)- Shanghai

Our client, one of the biggest hotel chain in the world is currently looking for VP- Operations Luxury brands. This role will be based in Shanghai.

A vice president of operations is an executive-level professional in charge of the day-to-day business structure. They often work closely with leadership to determine organizational goals and oversee departments to ensure employees are properly meeting these goals. some of his / her work includes, and here is the major job functions requirement.

• Support a performance-based, high accountability culture, that promotes collaboration between hotels and managememt company and ensuring brand consistency across all hotel protfolio

• Support and execute chain of commend among all hotels and it General Manager to keep in alignment with the Management Company and the Group's strategies.

• Develop financial management skills to leverage human capital. Identify and develop our future leaders and take an active role in recruiting, onboarding, training and development.

• Deliver best in class, and implement strategic change to increase quality, productivity and employee satisfaction

• Develop and implement performance results across entire hotel portfolio, levering technology to ensure compliance with Jin Jiang and our brand initiatives and standards.

• Responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide process to evaluate, elevate and drive financial and service results.

• Drive top-line revenue, market share growth and ensure appropriate flex/flow to maximize owner/investor returns.

• Develop financial management and budgetary skills. Working with our financial team and to lead the oversight of portfolio-wide annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, ongoing marketing, and operating planning.

• Key point of contact with Ownership groups and brand partners.

• Partner with the development team on owner, investor, and future M&A presentations, providing operational expertise to the underwriting process and discussion.

• Ensure that hotel operations are in compliance with the state and country laws and regulations and consistent with The Group policies, and to keep in fully aligned with our Hotel Management agreements.

• Use data to make informed and support business decisions

• Leverage technology to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the hotel operation and its functions.

• Provide assistance in building and developing any policies and procedures pertaining of our Brand including, and not limit to Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.

  
  

Experience:

• Required a minimum of 10+ years of progressive organizational leadership in a fast paced and rapidly growing entrepreneurial hospitality environment.

• Must have proven multi-unit hotel operations background or currently in a cluster role leadership role in leading large diverse hotel portfolios of luxury- and first- class hotels.

• Must have worked in internationally recognized luxury hotel brands,

• Preferred but not required to have a CPA and CHA; but a Bachelor's degree is the pre-requisite; Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven track record of successfully managing senior operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio.

• Dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating & developing associates.

• Highly empathetic & intuitive, self-motivated, driven and task oriented.

• Ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.

• Flexible/adaptive, upbeat, open & visible management style. This is in consider to our SOE background.

• Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (read, write and conversational)

• Have work in a multinational environment and must have work in a 1st tier cities, such as Shanghai, and Beijing.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Passion for people, love of travel.
