Head of Sales ( Guangdong)- Theme Park & Hotels

This role leads the overall sales strategy and execution for a large-scale integrated resort, including a theme park, water park, and multiple hotels. The focus is on **OTA, cruise, travel trade and strategic distribution partners**, driving attendance and revenue during opening and steady-state operations.

Reports to: 
  • Marketing & Sales Director

 Manages:

  • OTA Sales
  • Travel Trade / Cruise Sales
  • Corporate & Group Sales
  • Education / Institutional Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade sales strategies across all channels, covering tickets, hotel rooms and related products
  • Lead partnerships and negotiations with **OTA platforms, cruise operators, tour operators and key strategic partners** at regional, national and international levels
  • Own pricing strategy and revenue optimization across trade channels to maximize volume, yield and profitability
  • Track sales performance and implement corrective actions to ensure attendance and revenue targets are met
  • Work closely with hotel leadership to drive room sales through trade and distribution channels
  • Represent the business at industry events and trade shows to build relationships and grow market presence
  • Build, lead and motivate the sales team, setting KPIs, processes and governance


Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in OTA and/or cruise distribution is highly preferred
  • Experience in theme parks, hotels, resorts or large-scale attractions is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales management experience with proven leadership capability
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Flexible working hours required

  • Deliver trade attendance and revenue targets for the theme park, water park and hotels
  • Ensure effective product mix and channel performance, while keeping trade marketing investment within approved budgets
