This role acts as the key HR Business Partner for the Hospitality business unit of a major international equine sports and leisure organization in Conghua. The role requires strong strategic HR partnering skills, hands-on execution capabilities, and the ability to align HR solutions with business goals — particularly in workforce planning, training, organizational agility, and event-based operations.

Position Overview:
This role acts as the key HR Business Partner for the Hospitality business unit of a major international equine sports and leisure organization in Conghua. The role requires strong strategic HR partnering skills, hands-on execution capabilities, and the ability to align HR solutions with business goals — particularly in workforce planning, training, organizational agility, and event-based operations.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Strategy & Organizational Development
- Develop and shape the Grandstand HR strategy based on business goals and organizational diagnostic insights.
- Act as a strategic advisor to BU leaders, offering HR solutions that align with operational needs and long-term development.
- Support the enhancement of organizational agility and adaptability in a fast-evolving operating environment.
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Lead race-day workforce planning (full-time and part-time), ensuring timely consolidation and alignment with Hong Kong HR project teams.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to design, refine and implement a compliant and flexible PT staffing model, based on operational forecasts and evolving business trends.
- Participate in candidate selection, offer negotiation, and full employee lifecycle support.
Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver a comprehensive training framework for race-day workforce, including both general onboarding and function-specific training in coordination with business teams.
- Promote continuous leadership development aligned with the organization’s leadership competency model.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Work with BU leaders to drive ongoing employee engagement efforts; provide interventions when engagement challenges arise.
- Champion change management by supporting stakeholders through transitions and ensuring smooth communication and adoption of initiatives.
- Monitor team morale and co-create strategies with business leaders to maintain a stable and motivated workforce.
- HR Governance & Compliance
- Ensure HR practices and solutions are compliant with PRC labor law and local regulations in collaboration with COEs and HR Operations.
- Conduct first-level HR compliance assessments and support the corporate compliance framework.
Employee Relations & Communication
- Act as a first responder in employee relations (ER) case handling, minimizing business disruption and mitigating risk.
- Serve as the communication bridge between HR and Grandstand operations for all annual cycles: salary reviews, performance management, succession planning, etc.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with BU managers; maintain open channels for feedback and HR support.
- Project Management & HR Initiatives
- Collaborate with Corporate HR to localize and implement strategic initiatives using robust project management methodology.
- Serve as the HR key contact point for EventCo, supporting HR activities across all divisions involved in Grandstand operations.
- Support ad hoc HR tasks, cross-functional assignments, and special projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with exposure to large-scale event operations, hospitality, or service industries.
- Proven track record in HR business partnering, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of PRC labor laws and local compliance regulations.
- Solid project management capabilities; able to implement HR initiatives across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin required; Cantonese and English proficiency is a plus.
- Previous experience in a high-volume, part-time workforce environment is an advantage.
- High sense of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
