Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Develop and shape the Grandstand HR strategy based on business goals and organizational diagnostic insights.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to BU leaders, offering HR solutions that align with operational needs and long-term development.
  • Support the enhancement of organizational agility and adaptability in a fast-evolving operating environment.

Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead race-day workforce planning (full-time and part-time), ensuring timely consolidation and alignment with Hong Kong HR project teams.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to design, refine and implement a compliant and flexible PT staffing model, based on operational forecasts and evolving business trends.
  • Participate in candidate selection, offer negotiation, and full employee lifecycle support.

Training & Capability Building

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive training framework for race-day workforce, including both general onboarding and function-specific training in coordination with business teams.
  • Promote continuous leadership development aligned with the organization’s leadership competency model.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Work with BU leaders to drive ongoing employee engagement efforts; provide interventions when engagement challenges arise.
  • Champion change management by supporting stakeholders through transitions and ensuring smooth communication and adoption of initiatives.
  • Monitor team morale and co-create strategies with business leaders to maintain a stable and motivated workforce.
  • HR Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure HR practices and solutions are compliant with PRC labor law and local regulations in collaboration with COEs and HR Operations.
  • Conduct first-level HR compliance assessments and support the corporate compliance framework.

Employee Relations & Communication

  • Act as a first responder in employee relations (ER) case handling, minimizing business disruption and mitigating risk.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between HR and Grandstand operations for all annual cycles: salary reviews, performance management, succession planning, etc.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with BU managers; maintain open channels for feedback and HR support.
  • Project Management & HR Initiatives
  • Collaborate with Corporate HR to localize and implement strategic initiatives using robust project management methodology.
  • Serve as the HR key contact point for EventCo, supporting HR activities across all divisions involved in Grandstand operations.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support ad hoc HR tasks, cross-functional assignments, and special projects as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with exposure to large-scale event operations, hospitality, or service industries.
  • Proven track record in HR business partnering, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of PRC labor laws and local compliance regulations.
  • Solid project management capabilities; able to implement HR initiatives across diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin required; Cantonese and English proficiency is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, part-time workforce environment is an advantage.
  • High sense of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
